Tiny Timm
Tiny Timm came to us as an 8 week old
puppy with 2 major traumas already attributed to his short life. His
front leg had already been broken and not set so it is crooked and will
be for the rest of his life. His left rear femur was broken when the
club picked him up. We have had that bone set and pins and a rod have
fixed him up. Tiny Timm is going to be with us for quite awhile as he
slowly recovers. He is the sweetest little guy there is. We do not know
his past other than the fact he racked up 2 broken legs in 8 weeks.
Tiny Timm's medical bills are going to
be very high and we are appealing to all of you to donate what little
you can. Every dollar will count. We do take Paypal now but if you use a
credit card instead of direct transfer remember that paypal will deduct
2.9% + .30.

Well, Timm is doing great as of
10/13/03. He is getting very rambunctious and really wants to get out of
his kennel and play with the other dogs-sorry Timm but you are going to
have to wait. The steel rod will come out of his leg in about 10 weeks
and maybe then he will be able to do a little playing. When Timm goes
out to do his business he is all energy. We think he is going to be a
real ball dog as he is already fetching sticks from the yard. He just
looks so sad sometimes but not very often.

Well Tiny Timm just can not catch a break. Barb noticed his hair
thinning and took him to see Dr. Timm. The diagnosis was demodectic
mange. Now he is going to have to go through the treatment for this
also. Will it never end. This ailment is not really a great surprise due
to all the stress he has been through.

Hi guys and gals, my name is Tinytimm but everyone calls me Timm. I'm
sure doing good. I tested negative for mange again today, maybe it's all
gone. Mom and dad say they sure wish they could let me play with the
other dogs but they are afraid I'll get hurt. My leg is still broke,
they tell me, and I'll just have to wait another month before they will
even consider it. I think they are crazy. I show them how good i can
jump up and down, how I can kick my hind legs and bark but they just
keep saying - NO.
Barkley tells me just to be quiet and do what they say, that they know
best. I guess Barkley would know with all he has been through. I'm going
to go but I'll write again after my next X-ray.
Hey! You guys like my hat????

Timmers is doing great. Last week Dr
Timm told us he can get together with the other dogs as long as he stays
a little quiet at it (yeah right). He is not to good at being subdued
though. He will have the pin in his leg removed in about two weeks and
be neutered at the same time. This will be a stressful time for him and
we truly hope it does not cause a relapse of the mange he had. We have
tentatively placed Timmers and the adoptive parents just can't wait for
him to come to his furever home.

02/13/04
Timmers has found his furever home and
has been over there visiting the last 2 Saturdays. He will however stay
in our system until he is completely recovered. The pin in his thigh
must still be removed and we will have him neutered at the same time.
Hopefully the stress of all this will not bring on another bout of
mange. He is such a great guy, we are going to have a hard time letting
him go.

Timmers is now in his forever home and
appears to like it.
From Tara: Timm is doing really great!
He is using the doggie door and playing
like crazy.
To all of you that have donated we
want to say a special thank-you. You are all on the top of our list of
really good people.
