TRACY

Tracy is a 16 pound, female, about 1 year old. She has many problems. We will take care of all of them. She came to us with the most severely abscessed leg we have ever seen.
Tracy will have to have the leg amputated. I almost got physically ill when I saw the shape the leg was in. She is not pregnant but does have sarcoptic mange. She is also H/W positive (aint that a wonder).
Tracy was left out side with a compound fracture of her leg for over a month. WE ARE GOING TO DO ALL WE CAN to prosecute this ''OWNER'' for animal abuse.
It's a miracle she did not die of gangrene. This picture says NOTHING!!

There is absolutely NO excuse for this kind of behavior by a human.

Please, we really need donations to help this girl.

Tracy got her stitches out today.
She is doing GREAT. She is almost wanting to run but hasn't figured out how to yet. She still bleeds a little but HEY-- so what. She also got her 'halo' off and thank GAWD , got a bath !!!!!

This girl continues to amaze us with her stamina and apparent disregard for her injuries.

Tracy is doing GREAT!!!  She is out running with us and seems to be able to run better than walk. This is the most loving little girl. She is playing with her foster parent's maniac dogs and is holding her own. Tiny TIMM is being dog watched there for a week and the two of them fell in love at first sight. They have been playing with each other constantly. Tracey's only problem is that the wood floors are slick and her front leg slips and she ends up on her chin. Oh well, maybe we will have to look in on a brace. lol
Here's a picture of them playing. We are not sure which one won this round.

This girl has fulfilled our wildest hopes! She has had the strongest will to survive and adapt. She gets along with all the other fosters as they come and go and really enjoys playing with them in the time they are here. Tracy's heartworm treatment begins in about 3 weeks. After that she will be looking for her furever home. Here's another picture of our ''demon'' tripod girl.

Hi, it's Tracy.
I just wanted to let everyone know how well I'm doing. I love my new foster home. Mom and Dad treat me soooo good. I really feel like part of the family. Unfortunately I have to start my heartworm treatment on Monday. Mom says it's not fun and I could die from the treatment like Velvet did. Why wasn't I given preventative in the first place? Dad says it's because of the ignorance of some people. I know I'm going to be okay though.
In the mean time I'm going to be playing with my new friend
Buddy Guy. He's this really cool big dog. Well he's not that big. He's taller but doesn't weigh as much as Barkley. We have a lot of fun together. Just look at the picture and you can tell. Speaking of Buddy Guy, I think I'll go play with him now. Bye- till next time.

Hi guys, it’s Tracy. I went to my new furever home today, a little bit early. I really like my new mom and dad. They also have 2 cats and a new brother for me. He’s a blue heeler and has this ball fetish. I think when I get well we are going to be great pals. Mom and all realize that I’m still be treated for heartworms and am going to still have to stay in that nasty old crate for at least another 3 weeks. Gee, I hate that crate!! My old mom and dad told me they were going to miss me but they knew I was going to a great home. Hopefully Newt will like playing with as much as Buddyguy liked too. I’ll bet he’s not going to like it when I take his ball away from him, hehehe. This is going to be my last update but my new mom said that once I get completely well that she would write an epilogue to my saga.  Bye for now.

Here is Tracy's continued story... Pictures will follow...Mom is just now learning how to use the new digital camera well!

Hi Everyone!  Mom is writing my epilogue to let you know how life is going in my new home.  I have adjusted very well, although the wood floors gave me some trouble for a bit when I ran around really fast.  I love to run really fast everywhere I go!  Especially when I am chasing my new brother, Newt!  We like to play tug of war with a rope and I usually win because I roll underneath him and kick him until he gives up. If he doesn't, I just bite his lip until he does!  We are together all the time and will not go out in the yard without each other. Newt even wakes me up from my nap to go out!  We have loads of fun in our big back yard.  Every once in awhile I get to see my favorite vet and her dog Pebbles.  Pebbles is older but fun to play with also!  She has a cat that has three legs too.  His name is Handy-Cat!  I thought that was a funny name.  Speaking of cats, there are two in my house.  I try to stay out of their way since they are old and cranky, but sometimes I like to chase them just to see them run!  Mom and dad love me very much.  I can tell because they are always telling me how proud of me they are and what a good girl I am!  I am so happy to have my new home.  I do miss my foster mom and dad though!  I hope to see them at the picnic!  Mom and dad gave me a new nickname.  Sometimes they call me PITA.  Dad says it is because I can be a Pain.  I don't know why he thinks that.  I am just too cute to be a pain!

Love,

Tracy
