Adoptions are by application only. We can only adopt to homes within our local area (100 mile radius). Upon adoption, we ask for a $200 donation to support our rescue efforts. These dogs are currently looking for homes.

	Velvet This is a short memorial to Velvet. Velvet did not survive her heartworm treatment. Velvet had an embolism from the treatment and died due to the neglect of her previous owner. She is a huge example of why you must administer heartworm preventative to all of your canine children. We have not lost a dog of this age in some time and it has been a terrible blow to all of us.

	Dixie Bell Dixie is a seven year old sweet little girl waiting for her home. She is spayed & current on her shots. Currently undergoing treatment for heartworms.

	Huey Huey is an 8 month old male that will be neutered as soon as he has recovered from his upper respiratory infection. Ready to adopt around the beginning of April. He is very sweet & good with other dogs. Click on his picture to see him in full view!

	Maggie Maggie is about ten yrs old & loves to play with her stuffed toys which she likes to run after when thrown. She is spayed & is current on shots & HW preventative. She weighs 25 lbs and mostly sleeps off & on during the day. She is very smart, if her toys are outside and it starts to rain she will run out & bring them in. She is cold natured and likes a heating pad at night if the house gets below 67. She is a very sweet girl that loves to give & get love.

	Marko Marko is a neutered male that is three yrs old. He is current on shots & just went through heartworm treatment. He will be ready for adoption at the end of June. He is very sweet & laid back.

	Piper Piper is a 1 yr old spayed female that will undergo Heartworm treatment the end of January. Want to help with funding? Please read about Piper's case...

	Sadie Sadie is a 7 year old female current on all shots. A sweetheart with lots of love to give.

	Theo Theo is a 1-2 yr old neutered male, current on shots & heartworm preventative. He is a very sweet boy but is not getting along with his foster mom's male dogs. He got along with their female but she was an older dog that has since passed away. We think he may do better as an only dog. He is very sweet & loving but not so good with other dogs.

	Jazzman is a female Lab/Shepherd mix. She is calm, affectionate, housebroken, and knows how to use a pet door. She weighs about 50 pounds. She is loving, however, is afraid of children and men and needs to be in a female household. She has so much to offer to the right female owner. Her approximate DOB is 2002. Note: Jazzman and Roofus (see profile on pet list) can be adopted together. They are companions living together in the same foster home. "Two for one" adoption fee will apply to qualified home.

	Roofus is an active, neutered male Coonhound/Ridgeback mix. He is housebroken, knows how to use a pet door, and weighs about 65 pounds. He will do best in a home with no small children because of his size. He thinks he should be a lap dog and is very submissive and sweet. He does best with female dog companions. Roofus takes an enzyme medication to help his pancreas work more efficiently. It is an inexpensive medication that costs about $16.00 per month. His approximate DOB is 2005. Note: Roofus and Jazzman (see profile on pet list) can be adopted together. They are companions living together in the same foster home. "Two for one" adoption fee will apply to qualified home.
